The Blank Canvas…

Every time I place a fresh canvas on the easel, I feel the same mixture of excitement and uncertainty. The possibilities are endless, yet I know there will be moments when I question myself. Isn't that exactly how life feels?

This past year has been full of unexpected turns. Some I welcomed, others I never imagined. Still, every morning brings another blank canvas. Another opportunity to create something meaningful from where I am today instead of where I thought I would be.

Bob Ross often reminded us that we don't make mistakes, only happy accidents. I smile whenever I hear those words because they apply far beyond painting. The unexpected turns in my own life have led me to remarkable people, a passion I never knew I possessed, and a future I am slowly beginning to embrace.

Maybe the most beautiful paintings aren't the ones we planned from the beginning. Maybe they're the ones that evolved because we had the courage to keep painting.
