Patience…

Definitely not my strong suit. I am learning this as I continue to recover from my shoulder surgery. Thought I'd be so much further along by now. The only advice by my physical therapist:: patience. I want to be better. I want to have my mobility back. But the only thing standing in my way is time. Luckily it is my left shoulder; therefore I can still paint. It is definitely more draining to paint with my arm in a sling. But I make it work. I have started preparing my canvases with black gesso. I am so happy with the results. Being able to prepare my entire background before actually going into the oil paints is very helpful. Another step in my journey. Continue to learn. I watch videos. I watch tutorials. All in preparation for my final CRI class. December will be here soon.
